• Please read before booking your Portrait Session: Prices start at $199 plus tax for headshots. There is a $99 additional charge for families or groups larger than six. All prices include your edited, digital images. Please call for custom pricing quotes. Photography packages can often be tailored to specific needs.
• A deposit, in the amount of half the cost of the photography session, is taken at time of booking.
• I offer a number of beautiful, outdoor, and some indoor venues for my clients in the Austin area. If you choose a new or unfamiliar location, there is a $150 additional charge for the photographer to pre-view the location. The photographer must be able to preview the requested site before your shoot.
• To book your portrait session, we begin with a phone consultation. This allows your photographer to understand your vision for your shoot. It is during this conversation that we will discuss dates, times, location, pricing and any other questions that you might have.
• All outdoor shoots take place about 1.5 hours prior to sunset on a fair day. Photography sessions are still lovely with some clouds in the sky. However a grey and fully overcast day will not produce the lighting that is conducive to a truly ethereal and lovely result. Natural lighting photography is not only about ideal lighting. This time of day, produces lighting with colors as the sun descends. These colors are that which software simply can't replicate to its' full glory. In cases of full cloud cover or rain, rescheduling a shoot might be necessary. There is no additional charge for rescheduling a shoot, prior to being on location. Your photographer will work closely with you regarding the weather. In the rare event that rescheduling is recommended and the client still wishes to proceed, and the weather upon location prohibits continuation, your deposit will be retained. If the client wishes to reschedule, an additional deposit is required.
• A note regarding family pets (typically dogs), Our furry family members can add a lot of interest to your images. At the same time, they take extra time to compose your images with them included. We can discuss your pets being incorporated in the images during our phone consultation. In most cases family pets can be included. There is an additional charge of $60 for one pet and ($90) for two pets. No more than two pets can be accommodated. Certain large and/or aggressive breed dogs are not permitted. Doggies must stay on a leash until we begin shooting.
• A note regarding combined shoots. An example of this is senior/graduate images combined with family portraits. Combined shoots must be coordinated and priced ahead of time. They can easily be done and, depending upon the objectives, I can often offer combined shoot discounts (e.g. two or three seniors/graduates might combine their senior portrait session). The kids tend to have a lot of fun with this and parents can save on the cost. A combination shoot bust be conveyed and priced ahead of the shoot date.
• Please do not request additional/combination shoots once on location. (e.g. a family shoot and request that we take a few headshots or senior images while we are there).
• A note regarding extended family or group images (more than 6 people). These are custom priced depending upon the clients objectives. The base price for extended family or group images, is $499. Again though, exact pricing is given once we have all objectives conveyed via our consultation. As always, prices include your edited, digital images.
• During your photography session, cell phone use and cell phone photography is strictly prohibited. No exceptions. Cell phone usage is very distracting to the photographer’s work and often to the subject(s). If necessary, please step away to accept emergency phone calls. Otherwise please keep cell phones dark, silent and out of sight. Non-adherence to this policy will result in a cancellation of the shoot, and forfeiture of all deposits and images. Please convey this policy to all who will be at the shoot.
• Your digital images (typically 15-25 per session, with the exception of event photography) are delivered to you via a digital link and full instructions. Your full gallery of images are typically delivered to you within 7-10 days. Please inquire about a rush-delivery if needed.
• The photographer retains full copyright privileges of all images. What exactly does this mean? Not a whole lot. You may do anything you wish with your images, except portray them as yours or anyone else's work. A few of the loveliest images might be used for web-based advertising, such as placing them on the web-site or social media ads.

• In order to secure your booking, along with a 50% deposit, the following is requested from each client, via email to: patty@frontporchatx.com
• Client Name
• Client email address
• Client cell phone number
• All Names and ages (ages only for children), of all who will be photographed
• Written acknowledgment that you have carefully reviewed and agree to the above guidelines.

In your email reply, please include any descriptions that you feel are helpful in producing your objectives. Please feel free to give examples, using url’s, from web-based sources.

Tips for successful shoots:

• Make certain that shirts and garments are ironed or pressed.
• Gentlemen, please consider shaving prior to the shoot to avoid a 5 o’clock shadow.
• Please make sure cell phones are turned off and not in front pockets.
• Consider having pets/doggies groomed prior to the shoot.
